What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in: From 2:00 am for cabins and 11am for sites. Check-out: By 10:00am. Early check-in or late check-out may be arranged, please just ask our friendly team.

Manning Point has a small but charming selection of local eateries. The Manning Point Bowling Club is an easy walk from the park and a popular spot for hearty meals. For more dining options — cafés, takeaway, casual restaurants and coastal pubs — head to Old Bar (18 minutes away) or Harrington (22 minutes away).

Where is the closest Coles or Woolworths?

The nearest major supermarkets are in: Old Bar – Woolworths (18 minutes’ drive); Taree – Coles and Woolworths (25 minutes’ drive). Both towns also offer bakeries, bottle shops, chemists and everyday supplies.

Is Manning Point Beach patrolled?

Manning Point Beach is not patrolled. Visitors should take care, avoid swimming alone, and check local conditions before entering the water. For patrolled beaches, head to Old Bar Beach during patrol season.

How close is the beach from the park?

Manning Point Beach is just a short walk away — ideal for sunrise strolls, beachcombing and surf fishing.

Is this a good area for fishing?

Yes, Manning Point is known for outstanding fishing. You can cast from the riverbank, beach or nearby jetties. Flathead, bream and whiting are commonly caught in the river, with tailor and mulloway off the beach.

Is there a boat ramp nearby?

Yes, the nearest public boat ramp is only a few minutes’ drive away, offering quick access to the Manning River and the river mouth.
